# Minimum Bid Details

> Retrieve minimum and recommended CPM bid guidance calculated from applicable retailer rates for an Onsite Display auction line item.

## Overview

Minimum Bid Details returns CPM bid guidance calculated from the retailer rates applicable to an Onsite Display auction line item's configured page types, targeting, and creatives. Use the returned minimum bids when setting Standard page-type bids or the Adaptive maximum bid.

The endpoint supports Display auction line items with at least one creative. `minBid` is the lowest applicable retailer rate and is the inclusive minimum valid bid. `recommendedMinBid` is the highest applicable retailer rate for a page type across the line item's associated creative formats and category targets. Setting a bid at or above `recommendedMinBid` meets the applicable rate for every such combination on that page type; it does not guarantee delivery, which also depends on auction conditions and other line item settings.

### Response attributes

All attributes below are nested under `data.attributes` in the response envelope. Amounts are expressed in the line item's currency.

Supported `pageType` contract values are `Unknown`, `Search`, `Home`, `Browse`, `Checkout`, `Category`, `ProductDetail`, `Confirmation`, `Merchandising`, `Deals`, `Favorites`, `SearchBar`, `CategoryMenu`, and `AiAssistant`. The response contains only page types configured on the line item.
