UPDATE: MAPI and PAPI deprecation delayed to June 15th, 2021
To allow developers additional time to migrate their integrations, we've extended the deprecation date for MAPI and PAPI to June 15th, 2021.
As previously communicated, we planned to deprecate our legacy APIs on April 1st, 2021. The Criteo API, which follows a quarterly version release cadence and 12-month version stability, will replace MAPI and PAPI.
The Criteo API contains major improvements to both the API’s functionality and the developer experience. Version 2021-01 has been in general availability since January, and more features will be released in April’s version.
By delaying the MAPI and PAPI deprecation to June 15th, developers have more time to accommodate the migration. This will also address developers who are reliant on our SDKs for their integrations. We anticipate all SDKs being available by mid-May.
As a reminder, MAPI and PAPI remain on a deprecation path. Creating new users for these APIs will no longer be available as of May 18th. Support and operability will end on June 15th, without any additional possible extensions to this deadline.
Keeping you updated on all of the coming changes is a top priority. We recognize that you count on the reliability of our APIs to optimize your Criteo campaigns. As we continue to release new versions of the Criteo API, it is our goal to help you go above and beyond with your advertising needs.
Thank you for your continued support and feedback. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us on the Discussions page if you need additional support with your migrations.
